Born and raised in the picturesque countryside of Yorkshire, my fascination with geology and the natural world began as a child. My journey, however, took a significant turn during my university years at Oxford, where I studied Earth Sciences. It was during a field trip to the Sahara Desert that I first encountered the mesmerizing Desert Rose – a natural wonder that immediately captivated my heart.
Following my graduation, I dedicated myself to exploring and understanding these natural sculptures. My travels have taken me back to the vast expanses of the Sahara numerous times, each visit deepening my appreciation and knowledge of these geological marvels.
